Scott Wang
As a Director at ClearImpact Group, Scott Wang brings over 15 years of experience in technology operations, investment, and social impact initiatives. His expertise spans strategic financial management, business development, philanthropy, and nonprofit leadership.
Most recently, Scott served as Chief Financial Officer at Treasure Financial, an early-stage fintech startup, where he successfully raised over $10 million in equity capital and secured major enterprise partnerships. His prior roles include General Manager at Amazon, overseeing multiple $100 million+ P&Ls; part of the management team at ShopRunner during its acquisition by FedEx; and Head of Product Partnerships at Stripe. Beyond his formal positions, Scott actively advises early-stage startups and is a Limited Partner in four venture capital funds.
Earlier in his career, Scott was deeply involved in the social sector. He played a pivotal role in establishing Everytown for Gun Safety alongside Mike Bloomberg at NYC City Hall and managed investments in gun safety initiatives at The Joyce Foundation. He continues to contribute to the nonprofit community by serving on several boards and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
Scott holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an AB from the University of Chicago. He resides in Chicago with his family.
